Spend your first Seeds Available now
Install the Light Wallet, then use it. Hemptex and BetterFlags take Seeds for their flags; the Regenerative Renaissance Gatherings take them for tickets and contributions.
What you get: the currency doing the one thing a currency is for.

Follow what is growing Available now
Around four thousand people receive the SEEDS newsletter, and quarterly community calls draw roughly a hundred. Call dates, the marketplace and everything in between run through the community channels.
What you get: the real cadence of the ecosystem, from the people inside it.

Come to a gathering Available now
The community has gathered every winter solstice since 2022, with quarterly calls in between, and the Regenerative Renaissance Gatherings now travel through 2026 — Amsterdam, the Costa Brava, the Atlantic coast of Portugal and the Columbia River Gorge for the equinox.
What you get: a voice in the room while the big decisions are still open.

Read and improve the commons Available now
Nine years of constitutions, economic designs, governance patterns, alliance guidelines and field writing are public. The Knowledge Explorer indexes the documentation; the Library holds the movement's writing; the archive holds the founding material.
Much of it is explicitly marked "to be co-created" by its own authors. Corrections and additions are genuinely wanted.
What you get: the deepest understanding available, and a way to contribute without writing code.

Contribute code Available now
The smart contracts, the Light Wallet, the notification backend, the translations and the economic simulation are all open source under the JoinSEEDS organisation on GitHub. The core has run on the Telos blockchain since 2019 without interruption.
What you get: direct effect on what is being built — the wallet refresh and the Passport are both live pieces of building.

Bring an organisation Available now
Add Seeds to what your business already accepts, host an edition of the Gatherings, or bring your network in as an ally. The alliance playbooks the movement wrote — activation guidelines, onboarding processes, proposal templates and the pattern for running an event cashless on Seeds — are all in the archive and free to adapt.

The wallet
About setting up a wallet
The SEEDS Light Wallet is free on iOS and Android, open source, and self-custodied: your keys live on your device, not with a company. The contracts it talks to have run on the Telos blockchain since 2019.
Install it, and you can hold Seeds, send and receive them in seconds, and pay at the places that accept them.
If you do set one up: write down your recovery words on paper and keep them somewhere safe and offline. Self-custody means nobody can recover them for you. Never type them into a website, and never send them to anyone who asks — including anyone claiming to be from SEEDS.
Membership
Visitor, Resident, Citizen
SEEDS membership deepens in three stages, and the thresholds are specific rather than vague.
These are the thresholds as published in 2021, when the Passport app carried them. Bringing that governance layer back is live building; the table shows the shape membership takes.

Notice what the thresholds are made of: participation, vouching and time. Not capital. That principle is carried into the current constitution, which keeps voting rights unrelated to any capital anyone puts in.

What the rebuild actually needs
Rather than a generic call to action, here is what a group of roughly twenty people rebuilding a nine-year-old ecosystem is short of.
- People who will keep showing up. The single thing that kept SEEDS alive through four quiet years was a handful of contributors who did not leave.
- Developers who can build on existing open-source code rather than starting again — the wallet, the contracts and the governance layer all exist and all need attention.
- Writers and editors to finish the record. The 2022–2024 period is under-documented even though annual reports were produced.
- Funding in ordinary money. Fiscal sponsorship is in place for tax-deductible donations — one of the clearest lessons carried out of 2021.
- People who will argue well. The open questions — legacy holdings, funding terms, platform choices, accountability — need members who engage with them rather than wait for someone else to decide.
