Reinvent
Money with new rules
SEEDS rebuilds currency from first principles: no interest that concentrates wealth, no fees skimmed at every step. Value stays with the commons, so it keeps being redistributed to the people and places that create it.
Sowing Equitable Ecological Decentralized Societies
SEEDS is a regenerative currency and a co-creative ecosystem of thousands of members. Hold Seeds in your own wallet, spend them with people building an Earth-friendly economy, and help steward the rules together.
Why SEEDS
For a century, growth has been measured by how much we take out of the ground. SEEDS is built on three commitments that point prosperity and a healthy planet the same way.
Reinvent
SEEDS rebuilds currency from first principles: no interest that concentrates wealth, no fees skimmed at every step. Value stays with the commons, so it keeps being redistributed to the people and places that create it.
Regenerate
A share of the currency's growth gathers into the Harvest — a common pool the community directs toward rewilding, clean water and healthy soil. The economy is designed to grow forests.
Represent
The constitution is member-written, drafted in five open assemblies. Every verified human carries one account and one vote, and voting rights stay unrelated to how much capital anyone holds.
Where you can spend Seeds
A growing set of labels and gatherings that take Seeds alongside ordinary money.
Gatherings
A travelling series of co-hosted gatherings weaving communities of changemakers into one wider web — systems change, regeneration and celebration. Launched on the SEEDS × Semo community call of 1 July 2026.
Editions run through 2026 in Amsterdam, on the Costa Brava, on the Atlantic coast of Portugal and in the Columbia River Gorge for the equinox. Tickets and contributions can be paid in euros or in Seeds.
Goods
A textile label built around hemp. Flags woven from hemp fabric rather than polyester — national, pride and Earth flags off the shelf, plus custom mast, beach and construction flags — printed with water-based pigment inks.
The hemp is sourced from smallholder farmers in Uttarakhand, India, and the flags are made in Europe.
Goods
Mast, facade, car and boat flags built to biodegrade after they are thrown away, using CiCLO® technology to keep microplastics out of soil and sea. The everyday, hard-wearing counterpart to Hemptex.
Same workshop, same conviction: an industry that quietly runs on plastic can be changed one order at a time.

Free on iOS and Android, self-custodied, and talking to smart contracts that have run on the Telos blockchain since 2019.
A clear balance, your identity and your history — secured on your device, with no bank in the middle and no company holding your keys.
Pay a friend across the street or a maker across the ocean with a quick scan. Transfers clear in seconds, with nothing skimmed off the top.
Scan and pay at the businesses and gatherings that accept Seeds — and carry your membership with you as the network grows.
The Harvest
The Harvest is the commons at the centre of the SEEDS design: as the network grows, a portion of that growth gathers into a shared pool that belongs to no one and everyone.
Members propose the projects it should back and vote on where it flows — reforestation, regenerative farms, community energy, and the bioregional care that keeps a place alive. Funding decisions happen in the open, on a ledger anyone can read.
Opening the Harvest in full is the milestone the ecosystem is building toward, and the economics behind it are published for anyone to examine.
The journey
SEEDS has been built in the open since 2017 — through a fast rise, a hard reset, four quiet years held together by a devoted few, and the new era now under way.
An idea becomes a live blockchain, a mobile Passport, a currency people spend, and a global network of members and partner organisations.
Growth outran the design and the currency lost its everyday value. The lessons from that year now shape every decision the ecosystem makes.
A devoted group kept the core alive — the chain, the constitution, the websites and the gatherings — until a balanced design could be found.
SEEDS and Semo together again in public, Seeds spendable with real labels, and a travelling series of gatherings weaving the community back into one web.
