A living index of regenerative knowledge
The Explorer gathers the living knowledge of the SEEDS ecosystem into one browsable place: the agreements that shape its governance, the templates communities use to organize, the tools that move value through the commons, and the practices that keep it all humane.
Not every page here carries the same weight, and not every page describes the present. Each entry wears two markers: a governance badge saying who can change it, and an era tag saying whether it describes what SEEDS does now, what it did before 2021, or what has only been proposed. Read both before you read the entry.
How to read the badges
Changes require a referendum passed by the citizen body — the strongest guarantee in the index.
Editable only by stewards holding an appointed editor badge; stable, but faster to update.
Community-contributed material anyone may add to; reviewed lightly, curated over time.
An individual's perspective or walkthrough — useful, honest, and speaking only for its author.
And how to read the era tags
Describes something that is running, in force, or in use today.
Describes SEEDS as it was designed and run before the 2021 collapse. Real, and no longer active in that form.
Circulated for discussion inside the ecosystem. Intent, not commitment — and several of these may never happen.
Foundations
The core agreements and reference texts every participant eventually leans on.
Ecosystem Map
Who is out there: the alliance network as it was, the sites that survived, and the organisations the current building is connecting with.
Regenerative Action Templates
Ready-to-adapt blueprints for starting projects that leave a place better than they found it.
Organizing Tools — DAOs & DHOs
Patterns and templates for running decentralized organizations that stay accountable to their people.
Economic Tools
How value is created, pooled, and exchanged inside a regenerative economy.
Cultural Practices
The social soil: rituals, repair processes, and welcomes that hold communities together.
Commons Organizations
The organizations named in the ecosystem's own records — with an honest marker on how confident this index is about each one's current involvement.
| Name | Focus | Status |
|---|
Active — currently involved in the ecosystem, including collaborations still under discussion. Reduced — was central to SEEDS and its role has diminished considerably since 2021. Unverified — named in ecosystem documents, but this index has not confirmed its current involvement, and says so rather than guessing.
Nothing sprouted for that search
No resources or organizations matched. Try a shorter word — “harvest”, “badge”, or “template” are good places to dig.
