Wow! What a journey we’ve been on the last few years. The endless discourse and wisdom shared in the Discord, Discourse and Passport channels have been nothing short of paradigm shifting – along with being entirely overwhelming and impossible to keep up with!

Many of you may be feeling a bit lost in SEEDS, or not quite understanding what this is all about or how you can get involved. We understand; this emergence is chaotic! 

This is one reason why we’re setting up the “Regenerative Roundtable”, a seasonal 3-day event each solstice and equinox intended to provide the community with all the latest happenings in the SEEDS Universe.

As we find our pattern and rhythm these roundtables will make up 12 half-days a year that consist of the “minimum viable commitment” to SEEDS to (hopefully) maintain a high-degree of awareness of what’s happening in SEEDS and our involvement in the Regenerative Renaissance.

Announcing the first official seasonal SEEDS ‘Regenerative Roundtable’

3 days, 3+ gatherings to share in our biggest achievements, come together as a global community to unite and connect, a place for each of the organisations serving SEEDS to share what they’ve been up to with the community. It’s a seasonal festival to celebrate, strategise and get on the same sheet of renaissance music.

Day 1 Foundations – September 22nd 1400-1530 UTC

On the first day a group will share a massive announcement and proposal that has the potential to fundamentally change the course of SEEDS and our movement together. The news is big enough that we don’t want to share it early and we want to have a single moment where everyone gets to hear about it at the same time! Then we’ll discuss this proposal during this first roundtable. If you can only make it to one session, make sure to catch this one!

Day 2 SEEDS Commons September 23rd 1400-1530 UTC

Up for proposal right now (check the milestone tab of the voting section in the Passport to vote) is to instantiate the SEEDS Commons. Where Hypha will pass off the “Hypha Sale” to the SEEDS Community and transform it into the ”SEEDS Sale” where organisations of SEEDS can begin to use Seeds sold through (joinseeds.earth) as “commons funds” to better serve the SEEDS Community through funding multiple organisations (not just Hypha). This is an exciting experiment in collective budgeting and a step towards how we can redesign how we steward collective resources more fairly, equitably and effectively.

For additional funds to enter and flow throughout the SEEDS ecosystem, there must be new demand for Seeds. How can we foster and grow a healthy and attractive SEEDS economy that inspires people and organizations to invest by purchasing Seeds? 

This roundtable event will provide space for the SEEDS community to collectively assess the current health of the SEEDS Economy (e.g. what’s the history and current trends of the ‘Hypha Sale’ , what’s occurring on exchanges and peer-to-peer Seeds swaps) and discuss what they as individuals and organizations are already doing and could be doing individually and collectively to steward a healthy and resilient SEEDS Economy.

Day 3 Roadmap next 3-6 months  September 24th 1400-1530 UTC

Renaissance Explorers have been building a “Minimum Viable Roadmap” to help offer a shared compass for how we may collaborate over the coming months. The final day is all discussing this roadmap,  aligning on the next steps for us to take together, and agreeing on a path forward so that we can most practically and joyfully create the new civilisation humanity needs right now.

There are only 3 “main” sessions, one for each day chosen during a time that best suits the majority of timezones. However, throughout the days that’ll be many micro-sessions as any organisation or group within SEEDS that has a session they’d like to run, will be proposing other meetings and adding them to the SEEDS Calendar throughout these days.

Each seasonal Regenerative Roundtable (to be held on each of the solstices and equinoxes) is a time for us to come together and celebrate how far we’ve come. To reflect on our last season and to make a plan for the next one. This seasonal pattern will give some structure to our decentralised and global community helping to amplify and align our efforts and impact to create regenerative civilizations.
